The roundtable discussion “Regulatory support and organization of an independent valuation of the assets of natural monopolies entities in the electricity sector to determine the regulatory asset base” was conducted on July 3, 2012 in Kiev.

The participants of the event were representatives from the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, the National Commission, providing the state regulation in the energy sector, the State Property Fund of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Society of Appraisers, audit firms and entities of natural monopolies.

Active part in professional discussions took the representatives of Baker Tilly Ukraine: partner of valuation department Alexander Polyansky and partner of audit department Vitaliy Kazakov.

Alexander Polansky presented the topic “Overview of the European experience in independent valuation under transition to incentive regulation”.
